Natasha Denona Bronze Eyeshadow Palette Review
Hey there, Jury!
In today's post, we'll be talking about the Natasha Denona Bronze Eyeshadow Palette. *Que the ooh-ing and ahh-ing* Natasha Denona is well known for her eyeshadows being creamy, buttery, pigmented, and EXPENSIVE AF. Is it worth the dough, though? That'll be answered today.
This specific eyeshadow palette tracked a lot of attention in the social media world. My guess is because of its wearability. Since it's a warm bronze palette, you're able to get a lot of use out of it... and for the price, you better use it 'til it's gone!
PACKAGING
Let's talk about the packaging. The palette comes incased in this beautiful, reflective bronzy unicarton. I was too excited to get into the product that I unboxed it without taking a photo for you guys (sorry). But when unboxed, the glory doesn't end. The palette is sleek and feels elegant. The bronze color is rich and reflective on the front, then turns matte on the back. The back of the palette has little holes behind each eyeshadow so that you can easily pop them out and put them into a magnetic palette of your own, if you'd prefer that.
The palette has a nice weight to it so it feels luxurious in your hands. When you open it, you'll find a generously sized mirror on top. This is nice for travel and whatnot. This is a 15-pan eyeshadow palette, and is laid out with precision. The square shaped pan allows enough room to stick a makeup brush in without tapping into the other colors.
PRODUCT
Now let's move into the actual eyeshadow itself. Like I said before, there are 15 eyeshadow shades in this palette ranging from mattes to metallics and shimmers, so you get a good variety here. You get about 19.25g (0.67oz) of product total amongst all 15 shades. Natasha Denona sets her palettes up so that you can get a look by using a column or row, or even going diagonally.
I'll go over the each shade description (from the Sephora website) in order from top-bottom; left-right.
In the top row, we have: True Copper (warm copper); Suntan (warm medium brown); Sundown (medium light-yellow brown); Deep Dive (deep brown eggplant); and Rhodium (medium warm purple with silver reflect).
In the second row, we have: Magma (medium dark umber); High Degree (red copper); Alloy (vibrant bronze with golden reflect); Ridge (medium warm mustard); and True Bronze (foil bronze).
In the last row, we have: Gloaming (burnt umber with light bronze reflect); Palladium (warm pinkish taupe); Bliss (red pink with golden green reflect); Silk (foiled rich champagne); and Beach (warm nude).
The color story of this palette has been done before, there's no denying that, but the shadows are very high quality. The mattes are buttery and blendable, while the shimmers and foils are bold.
PRICE
It's no secret that Natasha Denona products will make your wallet cry. This palette retails for a whopping $65 (USD) and I feel that it's pretty reasonable for what you are getting. It is a Natasha Denona product, so you are partially paying for the name. However, with that hefty price tag you are also getting rich shades that make blending a dream and a palette that you can wear everyday. Her other 15-pan eyeshadow palettes like Biba and Gold retail for $129 (USD); so it is definitely more reasonable.
Keep in mind when Sephora does their VIB sales (I'll try to remind you here, too - so make sure you subscribe with your email to be notified!!)
VERDICT
(☆☆☆☆☆)
Well, jury... the verdict it in! This palette was MADE for me! I love wearable eyeshadow shades so I knew that I would love this. I think it's perfect for everyday, so you can really get the most bang for your buck. It's a warm-toned eyeshadow palette which I know a lot of you may like. I really think it's worth the money especially if you can find a coupon or catch it during a sale.
I honestly wear this palette more than anything else in my collection, so that really says something. I would definitely recommend this to the jury, today!
