My Favorite Products: Bronze & Contour

Hello Jury!

I am super excited to talk about my favorite bronze and contour products! I love that bronze-y, yet sculpted look. I have tried a TON of different bronzers and contour palettes but I have finally found my all-time favorite products (seriously - I don't know if I'll find anything else better).

Let's go over the products I use to achieve my ~signature~ look. We'll be talking about the NudeStix Nudie All Over Face Color and Marc Jacobs Beauty O!Mega Bronzer.

PRODUCTS

NUDESTIX NUDIE ALL OVER FACE COLOR
I use the shades Bondi Bae and Terracotta Tan. These are a staple for me because they are super creamy and are opaque AF. You really only need a little to get your achieved look which is great, because they definitely aren't cheap. The product comes in a little black tin with a mirror built-in. The mirror is too small for my personal liking, so I don't really find the packing too great. There is 0.25g of product, but like I said, a little goes a very long way with this.

This product is unique because you can wear them on your eyes, cheeks, and lips. So you can really get the most bang for your buck. This product is vegan, hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, gluten-free, fragrance-free, and it's formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates (if any of that is important to you).

MARC JACOBS BEAUTY O!MEGA BRONZER
I am completely obsessed with this product in the shades 102 - Tantric and 106 - Tantalize. They are seriously so buttery and blendable, which is what you'll want to look for in a good bronzer. It comes in a glossy white unicarton with the Marc Jacobs logo branded on the front. Once unboxed, it is a sleek white compact with a button to push to open. There is a big, generously sized mirror on the inside of the compact, which I can appreciate when and if I am traveling.

It comes with 0.8 oz of product (or 25 g). It has a very large pan, so it's nice that a big fluffy brush can be completely dipped into the product. It is pigmented, so you should dust off the excess. It has a satin finish which is what I look for in a bronzer. I don't like anything too matte where it sucks all the moisture out of my skin. It smells like a coconut summer vacation - who wouldn't love that?! (Unless, you don't like coconuts and summer vacations). This product is cruelty-free and formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, as well.

HOW I USE THEM

I always start off with some cream contour. I will apply the NudeStix in the shade Bondi Bae to the hollows of my cheekbones. I use a small amount so it doesn't look overbearing. I'll apply the stick directly to my face then blend out with the brush on the other side of the stick. After that's blended, I'll go in with my second shade in Terracotta Tan. This shade is a tad deeper, so I make sure to add the slightest bit. I'll blend out with a sponge (most likely my EcoTools sponge) and give it a second to set before moving on to my powder bronzer.

Once I wait the couple minutes after applying the cream products, I'll grab my favorite powder bronzer. Enter Marc Jacobs Beauty O!Mega Bronzer. I will take a fluffy brush (most likely my ELF Flawless Face Brush) and dip into the shade 102 - Tantric. Once blended, I'll dip a little into the shade 106 - Tantalize. This is a deeper shade so it just melts everything together.

Okay, I'm gonna be honest with you... these items will cost you a pretty penny. The NudeStix products will run you $32 (USD) each. However, I think these are totally worth it. They'll certainly last you a while because you really only need the tiniest bit. BUT - I don't think you necessarily need both shades, especially if you're lighter or deeper in complexion that me.

The Marc Jacobs bronzers retail for $49 (USD) BUT are on sale at Sephora right now for $34 (USD). That's a $15 (USD) savings! Like I said before, you don't need both shades - unless you're a makeup addict, like myself. These pan sizes are huge, so to me, they are worth every cent.

VERDICT
(☆☆☆☆☆)

I love these products. They are my holy grails. I know when I really like something, because it'll be the only thing I use over a long period of time. I would HIGHLY recommend these items to anyone looking for a glowy bronze-y look. If that's what you're searching for, these will be right up your alley.
